Mayday Malone’s 3rd studio effort simultaneously takes us back to our roots and showcases the band’s growth. Songs such as “12th of June” and “Chasing a Ghost” express the softer, singer-songwriter beginnings of the band, while the raucous “4th of July” proves these guys know how to crank it up. The John Prine-esque “Wrong Side of Town” weaves a familiar narrative of waking up after night you can’t quite remember, and the catchy title track tells tales of a father’s love for his car through the eyes of his kid. Traversing a wide range of styles and emotions, this album is sure to have something everyone.
Red Dodge Charger officially releases Tuesday, July 12th, on iTunes, CDBaby, Amazon, and several other major digital and physical distributors, and will also be available on major music streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Radio, and many more.
